Jenna McKnight has been named editor-in-chief of Architizer.com. McKnight was previously news director for McGraw-Hill’s Architectural Record magazine.
Men’s Fitness named Jane Seymour as its photo director. Before joining the magazine, Seymour was a photo editor at Maxim Magazine.
Elaine Alimonti is now vice president and publisher of Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel. Over the last year, she had been serving as a strategic adviser and consultant to the magazine.
Bloomberg Businessweek has named Doug Cantor as senior technology editor. Cantor had previously been a senior editor at Popular Science. Nick Summers will now serve the publication as a finance correspondent. He was previously a senior writer at Newsweek. Sam Grobart also joins the publication as a senior correspondent. Grobart’s previous role was serving as a personal technology editor for Thew New York Times.
Steve Snyder has been promoted to assistant managing editor of TIME.com. Over the last six years Snyder has filled a number of editorial roles at TIME.
Matt Bean is the new Sports Illustrated managing editor. Bean had served as an editor and digital director for Rodale.
Forbes Magazine has named Kasia Moreno as editorial director of Forbes Insights. Moreno previously served as the director of research and operations at Forbes Middle East.
American Express Publishing announced the promotion of Nick Van Sicklen to executive digital director, overseeing both FoodandWine.com and TravelandLeisure.com. Sicklen had been serving as FOOD & WINE’s digital ad director.
Avi Zimak has been named associate publisher of House Beautiful and digital director of Hearst design group. Zimak had previously served as advertising director of tablet media, and was featured as one of this year’s FOLIO: 40.
