Danielle Perissi has been named vice president of communications for the Time Inc. Business and Finance Network. She spent nine years in Time Warner Corporate Communications in a variety of roles.
American Business Media has promoted Claudia Flowers to the position of executive vice president, and Steve Ennen to vice president of digital business strategies. Flowers, formerly senior vice president of business development, will focus on educating new members in emerging digital arenas, and expanding the reach of the association’s international efforts. Ennen, formerly vice president of digital media & business information, will focus on assisting member companies in the development of strategies and business plans to deal with the challenges created by digital information delivery.
Andrea Kowalski has been promoted to online editorial director for Yoga Journal, responsible for audience development, editorial strategy, and the day-to-day operation of YogaJournal.com. She joined Yoga Journal in 2005 as web editor, and previously worked as a producer for Rodale’s Prevention.com.
Erica Roderer has been promoted to online associate editor of Yoga Journal, responsible for project managing YogaJournal.com’s blogs and editing several of its online newsletters. She was formerly the web editorial assistant.
Eva Dillon, former vice president and publisher of Conde Nast’s Cookie, has been named president and group publisher of Reader’s Digest. She will be responsible for both the regular and the large print edition of the magazine, as well as Selecciones magazine.
Interweave Knits magazine has named Eunny Jang, editor. Eunny is a popular designed and knitting blogger. She will be replacing current editor Pam Allen who has resigned to pursue other interests.
What’s On has named Megan Riggs associate managing editor. She started with the publication in 2003 as editorial coordinator and then as assistant editor.
PRIMEDIA has named Dan Mauch vice president of ad sales of PRIMEDIA Automotive Digital, the company’s portfolio of automotive Web sites.
