The Walt Disney Company, publisher of FamilyFun, Disney Adventures and Wondertime magazines, has merged its advertising sales and promotions teams for its telvleion, online, radion and publishing business under one structure called the Disney Media Advertising Sales and Marketing Group:
Tricia Wilber has been promoted to executive vice president of the group and will oversee new team members. Mary Beth Wright, publisher of Disney Adventures and FamilyFun magazines, will lead the publishing sales team, working closely with Dave Mevorah, publisher of Wondertime magazine. Michelle Scarola has been promoted to senior vice president of TV sales and eastern multimedia leader. Brad Davis has been named senior vice president of online sales and western multimedia leader. Jon Sayer has been named vice president of ad sales for Radio Disney and Midwest multimedia leader. Kara Rousseau has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing and sales development. Julie Watkins has been named vice president of revenue planning while John Spadaro has been named vice president of research.
Vertis Communications has added three new members to its leadership team. Doug Mann joins as senior vice president and general manager of advertising inserts. John Colarossi comes on board as senior vice president and general manager of Vertis Media, while Steve Wohlert has been named senior vice president of sales for advertising inserts.
Josephine Parr has been named executive director of brand communications for Rodale’s Runner’s World, Bicycling and Backpacker magazines. She was brand communications director at Outside magazine since 2004.
Kellogg Media Group has named Libby Harman account manager. She will primarily handle a new publication called Clubplanet Las Vegas and will also play a role in advertising campaigns for What’s On, The Las Vegas Guide and whats-on.com.
