Yoga Journal deputy editor Kaitlin Quistgaard has been promoted to editor-in-chief of the magazine. She joined the publication’s staff in 2003 as managing editor and moved to deputy editor in 2004.
Time4Media’s GOLF Magazine has named Charles Kammerer publisher. Most recently, Kammerer served as associate publisher of LIFE and has been with Time Inc. since 1995.
Karen Mazzotta has joined Prevention as executive director of brand communications. She has spent the last 15 years as an independent consultant and publicist for Rodale’s Men’s Health and Best Life magazines.
Worth Magazine has named Matthew Purdue interim editor in chief until a full time editor is hired. Purdue is currently serving as executive editor and will be filing in following the departure of current editor Dwight Cass in January.
Former GQ associate publisher Michael Wolfe has been hired to serve as publisher at Rodale’s Best Life. Before joining GQ, Wolfe served as associate publisher/ad director at O, The Oprah Magazine.
Veronica Smiley has been named VP of marketing for Radar Magazine and Radar Online. Smiley joins the publication from Procter & Gamble.
Christine Richard has been named editor of World Publication’s Islands magazine. She was most recently executive editor of the magazine.
