Christina Caldwell has been named online director of W magazine.Most recently, Caldwell served as an editor for the Sugar Inc. online properties. Before that, she was an online producer at Vogue.
Condé Nast’s Self announced a pair of personnel changes: Anita Maiella was named advertising director, focusing on mass beauty and international and American fashion, retail and prestige categories; and Lauren Hulhower-Belnick was appointed executive director of beauty. Wendy Nanus will continue in her role as advertising director, focusing on the health, food, fitness and mass beauty categories, the company says.
Thomas Frank joined Harper’ Magazine as a columnist. Frank, who has been a Harper’s contributing editor since 2004, most recently served as an opinion columnist at the Wall Street Journal.
Anne Zehren was appointed CEO of Hearst’s social shopping site Kaboodle, succeeding founder Manish Chandra, who is leaving the company. Zehren previously served as president and COO of non-profit media group Common Sense Media.

Las Vegas Weekly said editor Scott Dickensheets will become a columnist for parent company Greenspun Media Group’s flagship newspaper, the Las Vegas Sun. Sarah Feldberg, who has served as editor of the Las Vegas Weekly Web site, will now edit both the magazine’s print and online properties.
Lifestyle e-mail newsletter and Web site DailyCandy named Jeanne Sachs vice president of sales. Previously, Sachs served as vice president of advertising sales at the MTV Networks.
