Nussbaum Leaving F+W to Take CEO Post at America’s Test Kitchen
Jim Ogle to step into interim role.
Nussbaum, who begins his role as CEO on October 14, will play a leadership role in exploring new business opportunities that build on the organization’s traditional strengths and expand into related areas. Christopher Kimball, the co-founder and president of America’s Test Kitchen, continues to hold key responsibilities, including as the host of America’s Test Kitchen and its radio programs.
Jim Ogle, F+W’s COO and CFO, will serve as interim CEO in addition to his other roles while a search for a permanent replacement is conducted.
America’s Test Kitchen is the parent company of a well-regarded collection of media brands, including Cook’s Illustrated, Cook’s Country, and the PBS television show America’s Test Kitchen. The company was founded in 1980 by Kimball, who is the host of the television show and editor of Cook’s Illustrated.
Terence O’Toole, the co-managing member of Tinicum L.P., F+W’s majority owner, will assume the post of board chairman in Nussbaum’s place. “We thank David for his leadership and wish him all the best in his new position,” O’Toole said. “We look forward to working with Jim and the entire F+W management team to continue F+W’s transformation.”
