HOW MOCHILA WORKS
Mochila is more than just technology;it’s a community. A community of editors, publishers and advertisers. Editors can be both the buyers and sellers. The content available currently includes text and photos. Audio and video will be available soon. And Mochila is simple to use: a seller creates the content, stores it on Mochila, sets the price for the item, chooses its licensing rules and lists any embargoes or other restrictions.
A buyer logs into the Mochila system and searches for content. Once found, the buyer reviews the material, price and licensing terms. If the buyer purchases the content, it can be downloaded immediately into any publishing system.
Mochila also provides online advertising and revenue-sharing opportunities, allowing advertisers to closely align their ads with relevant content. When a buyer accepts advertising, the content is free and the revenue from the advertising is shared among the buyer, seller and Mochila.
