In 2016, Women’s Health redefined what wellness can (and should) mean, via watershed reporting, groundbreaking edit, and 360-degree integrated marketing campaigns that served our audience of over 30 million women through print, online and social platforms, and flagship events. They did this by starting movements, shifting popular opinion, elevating print, conquering every platform and embracing revenue streams. Online, the brand’s site averages 15.8 million unique monthly visitors in Google Analytics. UVs and PVs grew by 4% and 20% Y-O-Y, respectively, in the first half of 2016. With more than 15.5 million followers, WH has the largest social audience for a women’s lifestyle publisher, outpacing digital natives Refinery29, PopSugar, and BuzzFeed Health. Y-O-Y, the brand grew on Facebook from 4MM to 7.7MM; on Instagram, from 275K to 810K, and also debuted on Snapchat and FB Live.
