Healthcare Industry Publisher Rebrands
MedTech Publishing changes name to MedTech Media.
New Gloucester, Maine-based MedTech Publishing Company has changed its name to MedTech Media. The rebranding was approved recently by the company’s board of directors.
According to founding president and CEO Neil Rouda, switching ‘Media’ for ‘Publishing’ in the company’s name better represents the products and services it offers. “While print publishing remains an important facet of our operations, our early adoption of Web-based technologies, sophisticated e-mail delivery systems, interactive Web seminars, virtual trade shows and other Internet-enabled communications channels positioned us for the rapid growth we’ve experienced over the past two years—and will continue to do so well into the future,” he says in a release.
MedTech publishes two trade brands: Healthcare IT News and Healthcare Finance News.
In addition to the name change, MedTech’s board of directors also elected Rouda as chairman. Co-founder Jack Beaudoin was promoted to president.
