AC Business Media (ACBM) announced yesterday that it has acquired Door Security + Safety Professionals (DHI) conNextions, an annual trade show and exposition serving the door security and safety industry.
According to a statement, ACBM, a B2B organization serving the media and business intelligence industry, now owns and manages conNextions, while DHI will continue to offer conference programming services. The ongoing convention targets manufacturers, contract hardware distributors, design and specification professionals and those generally involved in the door security and safety industry.
Moving forward, ACBM is confident that its obtainment of conNextions will help contribute to the growth of the educational and networking event, which, according to the company, has been in operation for 80 years.
“We highly value partnerships, as we are creating with DHI, combining our resources, experience and talent, to expand the reach and value of conNextions going forward to more exhibitors and attendees while providing the same high quality experience for past and present attendees and exhibitors and not making any core changes to an event that has an 80 year legacy,” said ACBM CEO and co-owner Carl Wistreich in a statement.
In the past, ACBM has worked with a multitude of brands, including heavy construction, manufacturing, sustainability, landscape, logistics, supply chain markets and more. Additionally, the company has a wide range of digital properties, and provides its audience with trade shows, newsletters, videos, magazines and analytics.
Earlier this year, ACBM acquired Green Industry Pros properties from SouthComm, Inc., a B2B media brand serving the landscape industry.
“We’re confident our track record of success as a business to business media company with significant experience delivering industry-leading tradeshows will carry over to the growth of this well recognized event,” added ACBM chairman and co-owner Anil Narang, in regard to the conNextions acquistion.
