United Business Media has acquired Commonwealth Business Media Inc. for $152 million cash, United Business announced in a press release today. The acquisition of Commonwealth provides UBM with a strong position in the international trade and transportation business intelligence market, the company said. The Jordan, Edmiston Group represented Commonwealth in this transaction.
Birmingham-based Grand View Media today announced that it has acquired NTP Media, a Latham, New York publisher. The acquisition of NTP's four monthly titles will bring Grandview's b-to-b publishing platform to seven titles, which include Processing, Flow, Control and Archery Business.
