Bobit Business Media Acquires Finance Mag

Bobit Business Media has acquired Michigan-based national monthly magazine World of Special Finance, the World of Special Finance Conference and Expo, and its related Web sites. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New York magazine has named Duff McDonald as contributing editor. McDonald will write feature stories for the magazine and the Web site about business and Wall Street. He has also written for Vanity Fair, WIRED and Time.ALM has announced a pair of personnel changes:

PC, Macworld CEO Post Filled

On the heels of an editorial dustup that led to the sacking of a CEO, IDG Communications has named former CNET Networks executive Mike Kisseberth as president and CEO of PC World Communications and Mac Publishing, which produces Macworld magazine.
