ABM Postpones “Mobile Drill Down” in New York
Event didn’t reach minimum number of registrants.
American Business Media has postponed its Mobile Drill Down event scheduled for November 9 in New York City due to not reaching the minimum number of registrants needed.
Drill Down events scheduled for Chicago and Boston remain on the calendar.
"When it comes to events, we face a challenge to build new solutions when there is an overwhelming number of conferences, webinars, trade shows and virtual trade shows at the same time that people working in our industry have an increasingly limited bandwidth," says ABM CEO Clark Pettit. "The Drill Down approach of one-day, topic-specific seminars is one step in that direction, but it’s not the only one."
ABM has struck strategic alliances with organizations such as the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) and the Custom Content Council (CCC), and is launching an executive-education program, the B-to-B Advanced Leadership Program, with the Media Management Center of Northwestern University. The first five-day event will be held January 8-12, 2012.
