Sharon Bailey Romano is marketing director of email and apps for Hearst Magazines. Named to this role in May 2005, Romano was a critical member of the launch team for digital media. Recent initiatives have included revamping the email marketing program, resulting in a significant increase in subscription sales, and revamping email newsletters, which now drive an average of 40 million page views each month. In addition, Romano launched an email direct response program which has increased engagement and revenue, driving over 10,000 new members for Hearst partners monthly.¬†Previously, Romano had been fulfillment director at Ziff Davis Media since 2000. Prior to that, Romano held various consumer marketing positions at Montcalm Publishing and Kable Fulfillment, a media services company.

Vidya has over seven years of experience in both the digital and print arena from circulation planning and newsstand operations to statistical modeling. Vidya has a master of science in applied economics and a bachelor of science in business administration (marketing) from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.
