Chuck Cordray was named vice president and general manager, digital media for Hearst Magazines, in March 2006. He helped establish Hearst Magazines Digital Media, a unit dedicated to creating and implementing the online and mobile strategy for Hearst's magazine brands and other sites which serve the company's consumers and audience. Mr. Cordray comes to Hearst from Gemstar-TV Guide, where he served as senior vice president, consumer marketing, running newsstand sales and subscription sales, as well as Previously, at Primedia, Inc. he oversaw the strategy and management of online subscription sales and customer service.

Eric Kammerzelt oversees a technological infrastructure responsible for managing communications, content, lists and digital data for more than 150 media properties. Most recently, Kammerzelt oversaw and continues to build out the company’s proprietary digital warehouse which hosts content rights documentation, buyer’s guides, customer products and data as well as editorial that spans the markets Cygnus covers. Since launching the digital buyer’s guide, participation has grown from 7000 products to well over 50,000. Unique to the database is a user’s ability to search by product and company as well as immediately make contact with the vendor in order to purchase or gain more information. Within seven months of launching on, Cygnus Business Media’s construction portal, more than 10,000 qualified leads were generated.
