Lisa Sullivan-Cross is VP Online—Marketing, Media & Visual Arts for Nielsen Business Media and is responsible for leading digital sales, marketing and strategy for a portfolio of integrated brands which includes trade shows, publications, online businesses, conferences and events. In this role, she creates and drives enhanced value in the group’s various product lines. Prior to Nielsen Business Media, Sullivan-Cross was Director of Online Revenue at Lucasfilm where she started the e-commerce division as well as ran the ad sales and marketing programs for Lucas Online. Sullivan-Cross was also Director, E-Commerce at New Line Cinema where she ran merchandising and marketing for Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema online stores, Director of Marketing at Evite, and lastly founded the client services department at a leading San Francisco ad agency, Left Field (now part of, where she built advertising programs for Amazon, Hotmail,, and Sun Microsystems. Lisa has over 15 years business and marketing experience, including 10 years building successful online businesses and divisions and has a track record of leveraging emerging trends in digital media and leading businesses to success.

June Sargent is a longtime expert in audience development and consumer marketing, with a specialty in print publishing and online media. She has served as Senior Vice President, Consumer Marketing & Strategy for Standard Media International (publisher of The Industry Standard) and Vice President Consumer Marketing for Red Herring Communications. She has more than 25 years experience in the publishing and direct marketing fields with U.S. and international companies, including Knapp Communications, McGraw Hill and CMP. She has deep knowledge and particular interest in developing domestic and international marketing, circulation and branding strategies for print and online publications. She has been instrumental in the launch of a number of print and online businesses including Red Herring, The Journal of Life Sciences, (now Six Apart), AlwaysOn Network and Catalyst, the National Consumer Guide. Additional clients have also included Natural Solutions magazine, Old Trout, Burrill and Company Life Sciences,, San Francisco magazine, Via and the Robb Report. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley School of Journalism and the prestigious Stanford University Publishing program. She is a frequent presenter at Folio, Circulation Management, WPA and WFMA seminars and events.
