Time Inc. Launches Ad Network
Time Axcess offers marketers alternative to larger, third party networks.
Time Inc. has launched Time Axcess, a branded advertising network offering marketers an alternative to larger, third party ad networks. Time Axcess will span Time Inc.’s portfolio of magazines and Web sites, and will reach 27 million consumers, the publisher said.
According to Time Inc. Digital president Kirk McDonald, Time Axcess represents “an opportunity to connect an advertiser’s strategy for driving demand where they invest in establishing their brand."
The network will feature customizable, nonstandard, premium and high-impact units, Time Inc. said. It was not immediately clear which technology provider(s) will provide the network’s targeting and delivery services.
Axcess’ first brand partner, Volvo, utilized the network in the launch of its XC60 crossover SUV. The campaign included ads on the homepages of select Time Inc. sites and used behavioral targeting to reach in-market buyers, the publisher said.
