Source: Conde Nast B-to-B Magazines May Be Sold
Conde Nast has found a buyer for its three b-to-b publications, Supermarket News, Home Furnishings News and InFurniture, a source familiar with the deal said Monday. Conde Nast acquired the three titles when parent S.I. Newhouse bought Fairchild Publications Inc. from the Walt Disney Co. in 1999 for a reported $650 million. The sale of the three publications is part of the company’s continuing strategy of focusing solely on its consumer brands, the source said. The buyers name could be learned Monday.
