On May 24, Cosmopolitan Magazine, celebrity guest Mario Lopez and Lo Bosworth, star of MTV’s "The Hills" hosted the third annual Bikini Bash, presented by NIVEA. Thousands of bikini-clad women gathered poolside at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and spelled out the words C-O-S-M-O and N-I-V-E-A while award-winning photographer, Walter Iooss, shot an aerial photograph. |

The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck and husband ESPN NFL Analyst Tim Hasselbeck joined forces with the National Milk Mustache “got milk?”® Campaign on Tuesday, May 25 at The Scholastic Store in NYC to help celebrate Scholastic Parent & Child’s “Family of the Year” initiative—a nationwide search to find families who band together to make a difference in their homes, schools, and communities. With nearly 90,000 entries received, the first-prize winners—the Clifford Family of Belle Harbor, NY—currently appear on the cover of Scholastic Parent & Child’s June/July 2010 issue alongside the Hasselbeck’s debut Milk Mustache “got milk?”® campaign. |

On May 17, Hearst Magazines president Cathie Black hosted a cocktail party at the Boom Boom Room on the top floor of The Standard Hotel to toast the company's four new editors-in-chief: Newell Turner at House Beautiful; Jill Herzig at Redbook; Stephen Drucker at Town & Country; and Dara Caponigro at Veranda. Attending the party were people from fashion and beauty to home design and society, including fashion designer Tory Burch, cosmetics guru Bobbi Brown, Leonard Lauder, party planner Bronson van Wyck, Studio Museum of Harlem director Thelma Golden, Whitney Museum trustee Brooke Neidich, and interior designers Celerie Kemble and Richard Mishaan.
