IDEAlliance Launches MasterPrinter Program
The International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance) has launched a new MasterPrinter Program – a qualification program that identifies printing companies trained to print to ISO standards using the new G7 Methodology and can produce a press sheet to GRACoL or SWOP aims within acceptable tolerances. The qualification mark means that the printer uses the most modern technology, techniques and process controls and standards required to produce high-quality printing. Because MasterPrinters print to standards everyday, and because they employ the G7 proof-to-print process, print buyers can rely on MasterPrinters to have faster make-readies, closer proof-to-print matches and high print quality.
Qualified printers in the MasterPrinter Program include Amp Printing, Brown Printing Company, CRW Graphics, Foremost Graphics, Integrity Graphics, LAGraphico, Leatherback Printing, LP Thebault, Quad Graphics, Rex3, Rochester Institute of Technology and Sandy Alexander in the United States and C&C Joint Printing Company, Cheong Hing Printing Company, Ltd., China Translation & Printing Services, Ltd. and Wing King Tong, Company, Ltd. in China.

"Palm Coast Data’s ability to custom-tailor their services to our unique needs played a crucial role in our decision," said Joseph D. Preston, Chairman and Publisher for ROCKSTAR PUBLISHING. "Plus, PCD’s technological advantage over their competitors was dramatic, especially their Internet capability and the new PCD inSight list management system."
Palm Coast Data, located in the Florida city of Palm Coast, is one of the largest fulfillment providers in the United States. The bulk of the company’s business comes from the publishing industry, with a smaller share coming from membership organizations and product marketers.
