Mirus Capital Advisors Inc., an investment banking firm serving the technology, manufacturing and service industries, has promoted Laura Kevghas to principal. She previously served as vice president of Mirus, and served as director of corporate development for Advanstar Communications.
Ana Marie Cox has been named Washington editor of TIME.com. Cox joined TIME in March 2006, as a contributing writer. She will manage the site’s political coverage and continue to write stories for print and online. Cox was the founding editor of the political blog Wonkette before she joined TIME.
National Geographic Adventure has named Stacey Lakind account manager of the northwest region. She is formerly of Rodale’s Backpacker, where she served as western territory manager. Ranger Media Group’s Ken Farber and Wheeler Morrison have been hired to represent the southeast territory.
