Jill Waage was promoted to the newly created position of executive editor for Better Homes and Gardens brand. Concurrently, Oma Blaise Ford was named executive editor of BH&G the magazine.
Stacy Nathan was named associate publisher, advertising, for Hearst Magazines’ Seventeen. Nathan was previously advertising director at Allure.
The Washington Post announced that it named Jed Hartman chief revenue officer, effective December 15. Hartman was previously group publisher of Time Inc. news and business. Meanwhile, Time Inc. EVP Todd Larsen, who Hartman reported to, is also leaving the company. Evelyn Webster will be assuming his duties.
Matt Thompson was named deputy editor of TheAtlantic.com. Thompson joins Atlantic Media from NPR, where he was director of vertical initiatives.
Niche Media, publisher of regional brands such as Aspen Peak, Hamptons and Ocean Drive, has promoted Maria Blondeaux to chief operating officer. She will also continue to serve as vice president of manufacturing for Niche’s former parent company Greenspun Media Group.
