Diane L. Landsman will replace Tim Sosbe as editorial director at MediaTec Publishing. Landsman will be responsible for Chief Learning Officer, Talent Management and Certification Magazine. She was formerly the company’s director of communications.
Tim Bryan has joined TIME.com as vice president of sales. Bryan was formerly director of new media sales at A&E Television networks.
Departures has hired former Absolute magazine style editor Chris Campbell as men’s fashion editor. Campbell has also worked at Details and The New York Times magazine
Robert Priest-Heck has been named to the United Business Media’s management team, where he will work with completing global acquisitions, particularly in the events and online areas, in anticipation of taking a leading executive role a newly acquired business. He is formerly the CEO of MediaLive International Inc., which was acquired by UBM in January.
Time Inc.’s recently formed Business and Finance Network has named Vicki King as vice president of custom projects. She joins the network from Forbes where she was the financial category director. She has also served as associate publisher of Avenue Magazine and publisher of The Deal.
Sunshine Media Inc. has named Howard La Graffe director of publisher development and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. He has been with the company for 13 years.
Advanstar Communications has made two changes in its editorial staff for RN. Jeff Bauer has been promoted to managing editor. He has been a senior editor at RN for the past five years.
Mary Lou Hurley is the new senior editor of RN. She will be responsible for editing and writing clinical and professional features and news items. Hurley has worked as a medical editor at two medical education companies and was on RN’s staff from 1990-1995.
