Paste Launches Local Blogs
Paste:Local sites include New York, Chicago and Atlanta.
Georgia-based music magazine Paste has launched Paste:Local—a series of city-specific blogs.
“Taking the Paste mission—‘signs of life in music, film and culture’—and refining it locally was a natural and necessary progression for the Paste brand,” editor-in-chief Josh Jackson said in a statement. “Our Web presence was already strong through pastemagazine.com … Paste:Local will only serve to expand our online appeal.”
The Paste:Local blogs will focus on local news, reviews, music, interviews and profiles, and event listings, the magazine says. Paste has enlisted local editors and writers to maintain the blogs in designated cities, including Atlanta, Chicago and New York. Additional cities will be added in the upcoming months, the magazine says.
