NEW YORK—The Magazine Publishers of America doled out its second annual digital awards this afternoon at the Magazines 24/7 Conference in Manhattan. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, large consumer magazines were well-represented on the winner's list.
Time.com [1] won
the news Web site of the year, beating out BusinessWeek.com [2] and Slate.
CondeNet's Style.com [3] won for best fashion/beauty site over InStyle.com [4]. People.com [5] took top honors in the entertainment category over EW.com and TV Guide.
New York magazine—no stranger to MPA awards—won two: service Web site of the year for nymag.com [6], and magazine blog of the year for its Daily Intelligencer [7].
