Rodale advertising revenue spiked 23 percent in 2007 compared to 2006, according to full-year results released by the company today. Ad revenue for its magazine-branded Web sites increased 82.6 percent during the same time period.
Women’s Health led the growth with a 145.6 percent increase in ad revenue and 250 percent growth in online revenue in 2007 compared to 2006.
In a statement, Rodale president and CEO Steven Pleshette Murphy attributed the company’s “resilience ... in an uncertain economic climate” to the diversity of its assets.
