Corporate Overview

Committed to Print as the medium of choice for both business and consumer, Quebecor World provides flexible integrated print media solutions to our customers. We are a leader in all of the markets we serve, which include magazines, inserts and circulars, books, catalogs, specialty printing and direct mail, directories, digital premedia, logistics, mail list technologies and other value-add services. Quebecor World has approximately 37,000 employees working in more than 160 printing and related facilities in 17 countries, creating a cost-efficient and effective global printing and distribution model. Formed in 1999 from the merger of Quebecor Printing Inc. and World Color Press in what was the largest and most complex business transaction our industry had ever experienced, Quebecor World is no stranger to the world of consolidation. Our understanding of the industry, combined with our global reach, enable us to partner with both domestic and global customers as they work to extend their own geographic reach and global branding.

Primary Products and Services

As the most diverse graphics communications company in the world, our printing services include rotogravure, web heat-set, web inline, web inline imaged, print on demand, sheet-fed, point of purchase, packaging, plastic cards, and promotional game piece printing. We excel at delivering prepress, press and post-press services, but our customers are increasingly looking for us to provide solutions beyond traditional prepress and print production services. In response to front-end production requirements, we have expanded our product offering to include creative and hosted application services for content management & automated publishing in addition to the prepress, color management, technology integration and workflow enhancement services traditionally offered.

Our Logistics group is the largest and most successful dedicated print logistics provider in the world. We are the largest business partner of the USPS and one of the top LTL carriers in the country. Managing over 9 billion mail pieces and over 3 billion pounds of printed matter, we are dedicated to providing the most efficient logistics services.

Commitment to Our Customers

In July 2004 we announced the purchase of 22 new presses for our U.S. magazine, catalog, retail and book platforms. In 2005 we began the operation of the first of these presses. This investment is part of our determination to be the technological leader in the North American printing industry. Included in this purchase are 48 and 64-page presses configured for high page counts and high quality commercial, magazine and book work. These presses are configured with the latest robotic and high-speed automation systems that will make them highly effective for use in both the short and long run markets. Highly efficient and flexible, these presses reinforce our commitment to be the leader in high- quality, cost-effective print solutions.
