Freeport Press is a nationally recognized commercial heat-set printing company. In June of 2007, we were listed as one of the Top 25 magazine printers in the country (in Publishing Executive Magazine). We are being recognized by Printing Impressions this year in their annual listing of the Top 400 printing companies and will be highlighted as a “Fast Track Firm.” Freeport Press Inc. was founded in 1880 as a local newspaper in southeastern Ohio. We continue to have a forward thinking, dynamic approach to doing business. Freeport Press is an industry leader in short run, heat set publication printing with web runs of 5,000-1,000,000. We are also the industry leader in the print-to-digital arena with our innovative ePROTM product. We continue to provide our customers with the best technology available to repurpose their publications on the Web. All production takes place at our facility in Freeport, Ohio.

Our configuration enables us to be a very cost effective alternative to sheet fed plants for short turns with quantities as low as 5,000: and with larger web plants with runs into the millions.

New for 2008

We are extremely excited about 2008. We are currently breaking ground on a building expansion which will double our current facility’s square footage. We are installing a brand new Komori System 38s full size heat-set web which will be the most technologically advanced press in the state of Ohio. We are going to install a second identical press in 2009 or sooner depending on the level of our sales growth.
