Three vice presidents are leaving Cygnus Business Media, the company announced to staff Wednesday. They include Dave Davel, vice president of publishing; interactive vice president David Parsha; and human resources vice president Judy Heidebrecht.

Parsha and Heidebrecht will remain with the company through the end of the year. Davel’s departure is effective immediately.

Sources told FOLIO: the departures are associated with a “streamlining of the management structure.” When contacted by FOLIO:, a Cygnus spokesperson said, as a policy, the company does not comment on personnel matters.

In September, Cygnus emerged from bankruptcy protection and named former Penton Media chief executive John French as CEO.

Cygnus is expected to name a new CFO within the coming weeks.
