Condé Nast has named Susan Plagemann vice president and publisher of Vogue magazine. Plagemann served as vice president and publisher of Marie Claire since 2004. Vogue’s former publisher, Thomas A. Florio, accepted an expanded role as senior vice president and publishing director for Vogue, Bon Appétit, and Condé Nast Traveler.

Richard Nalley
was named editor of luxury lifestyle bimonthly ForbesLife, replacing Gary Walther. Nalley previously served as the magazine’s senior editor.

Uptown magazine named Vibe founding publisher John Rollins regional advertising director. Rollins most recently served as group publisher of IMG Publications.

Vibe magazine parent InterMedia Vibe Holdings appointed Asten Morgan Jr. as associate publisher and director of sales. Formerly, Morgan served as executive director of national sales for Glam Media. The print edition of Vibe is expected to relaunch in December.

Hearst's Marie Claire promoted Abigail Pesta to editor-at-large. Formerly, Pesta served as deputy editor.

Keith Fox
announced to staffers [1] recently that he is stepping down as president of BusinessWeek but will remain in a “new role” at parent company McGraw-Hill. Before being named president in April 2007, Fox [pictured] served as [1] president of McGraw-Hill Professional. His resignation follows the recent announcement [1] from Stephen Adler that he will resign as editor-in-chief later this year when the magazine’s sale to Bloomberg LLC is expected to be complete.

Rodale’s Organic Gardening appointed Doug Hall senior editor. Most recently, Hall served as a senior editor in Meredith Corp.’s newsstand magazine division, and formerly served as associate garden editor at Better Homes and Gardens.

Bonnier Corp. named Mark Wildman senior vice president of corporate sales and marketing. Formerly, Wildman served as a vice president at the Reader’s Digest Association and as executive director at the Condé Nast Media Group.

New York magazine named Josh Wolk entertainment editor at nymag.com. Previously, Wolk served as senior editor at Entertainment Weekly. His appointment is effective November 17.

Digital media and marketing firm Active Marketing Group promoted Jason Johnson to vice president of online media and database sales at its Active Marketing Group division. Johnson most recently served as the group’s director of database sales.
