Printer R.R. Donnelly recently added three 1200 DPI high-speed color digital presses, pushing its printing platform to include more than 1,000 printing units in more than 60 facilities worldwide.

Among its printing machines are conventional long run assets that have been retrofitted with high speed digital color capabilities, the company said.

In February, R.R. Donnelly reported [0] a $191.7 million net loss for 2008. It also said it had been awarded a $500 million multi-year agreement [0] from newspaper magazines publisher the Publishing Group of America.
