CMP has appointed Joseph Braue senior vice president and group director of Light Reading. Braue has worked 20 years in the industry, most recently as senior vice president of CMP Integrated Marketing Solutions. Before that, he was vice president and group publisher for Data Communications magazine.

Susan Tremblay has joined Nielson Business Media as director, business development for the Marketing & Media Group, which includes titles like Adweek, Mediaweek, and Editor & Publisher. Previously, Tremblay was president of Creative Circle Advertising Solutions. Before that, she was president of Freedom Communications’ LatinTrade.com.

Bonnier’s The Parenting Group has promoted Greg Schumann to group publisher, up from his post as publisher of Babytalk. Before joining The Parenting Group, Schumman worked as eastern advertising director at Teen People and, prior to that, as vice president and group publisher at Hoyt.

BusinessWeek.com has announced a new technology columnist: Sarah Lacy, formerly a reporter for BusinessWeek and the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Kimberly Reynolds has been named VP of marketing and creative services for Ingram Book Group, which includes distributor Ingram Periodicals. Prior to joining Ingram, Reynolds was director of marketing and communications at Nashiville-based Saint Thomas Health Services.
