E-mail newsletters remain the backbone of many publishers’ e-media strategies, particularly on the b-to-b side. But with the oversaturation of e-mail newsletters in almost every market, you need to do it right to get noticed. And that goes beyond just good content. At the Society of National Association Publications meeting last month, Joe Rominiecki, newsletter editor for ASAE and The Center for Association Leadership, discussed how the association handles its 14 different newsletters.

In 2007, the association redesigned its newsletters. “Put together an FAQ talking about the changes and why it’s better for them,” says Rominiecki.

In this PDF [0], Rominiecki shares some tips from his association’s TechnoScope newsletter, including how to handle heds, TOC and templates.
