The layoffs are part of Nielsen Business Media’s “reengineering” effort to streamline workflow across all publications, according to a spokesperson for the company. This includes “moving people to new positions, creating new positions, and the elimination of old ones,” she said.

The process of reevaluating the business is ongoing, the spokesperson said, adding that no additional layoffs are planned at this time.
