Conde Nast’s digital arm CondeNet has acquired SFO Media, publisher of travel blogs HotelChatter.com and Jaunted.com. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This deal increases our travel footprint and adds to our portfolio a group of sites for advertisers who target an active, passionate and upscale consumer,” CondeNet president Sarah Chubb said in a statement.

The blogs, which currently draw just under one million visitors per month, will operate as standalone brands, cross-promoted on Concierge.com. The Concierge.com sales team will sell ads for the blog both individually and as part of packages with Concierge.com and cntraveler.com.

SFO Media founder Mark Johnson will join CondeNet and will continue to run the sites as senior director.
