Nielsen Company, JWT Launch Custom News Portal (posted 3/13)
The Nielsen Company, formerly VNU Inc., is partnering with the country’s largest advertising agency, JWT, to launch JWT Newswatch, a fully customized news and information portal for JWT. The Web portal will offer JWT employees access to real-time news and information from more than 40 Nielsen publications including Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek, Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter.
The features of JWT NewsWatch include:
- A company-wide landing page featuring relevant advertising, marketing and media coverage, and a section dedicated to JWT and its clients.
- Content created specifically for NewsWatch, including weekly news round-ups.
- Nineteen client-specific pages.
The service, which will be powered by InfoDesk, a enterprise news management technology firm, is designed to increase awareness about the advertising, marketing and media coverage industries.
The site is also intended to save the company’s employees time by keeping them informed on relevant content from their business and the businesses of their clients.
