Meredith Introduces iPad Subscriptions for Better Homes and Gardens, Parents and Fitness
Annual subs range from $9.99 to $14.99; monthlies at $1.99.
Meredith Corp. joins the growing ranks of publishers who have reached subscription agreements with Apple and will start offering annual subscriptions ranging from $9.99 to $14.99 and monthly subscriptions of $1.99/month for three titles: Better Homes and Gardens, Parents and Fitness.
Print subscribers will have free access to their current subscription, while single-copy sales are also available through the App Store.
Subscriptions and single copies for Better Homes and Gardens, Parents and Fitness are already available for the Android tablet via Next Issue Media, and for Family Circle and More on the NOOKColor. Zinio offers subscriptions and single issues for Meredith’s Special Interest Media, Creative Collection and Hispanic brands.
Since Apple unveiled its subscription plan in February, major publishers including Conde Nast, Time Inc. and Hearst have struck subscription deals for iPad editions of select titles. Earlier this month, Time Inc. announced that all 21 of its titles will be available on tablets by year-end.
