mBLAST Expands Service Offerings
Marketing and analytics firm broadens API and database search functionality.
mBLAST, a marketing intelligence and brand analytics company, has extended its services by offering its API beyond selected partners. The company has also launched a new search function that allows customers to freely search its content database for product and brand mentions.
The mPACT API service is now a public API, available in free and paid versions, and allows customers to integrate the mPACT Pro product into an existing software platform. The product is used primarily by PR agencies to monitor mentions of a brand, product or person across digital and social media platforms.
The new web-based MediaSearch feature allows users to perform keyword searches in mBLAST’s proprietary database of articles, blogs and social media content.
"On the low end, mPACT MediaSearch lets anyone find relevant articles, blog posts and social media posts based on the keywords of their choice," says mBLAST CTO Mark Hath in a statement. "On the high end, mPACT API allows sophisticated users to fully integrate the functionality of mPACT Pro into their own services and products for internal use, or for white labeling into products designed for customers, clients and partners."
