Hearst Names Cosmo Editorial Brand Manager
Susan Schulz replaces John Searles, who has left the company.
Hearst has appointed Susan Schulz editorial brand director for Cosmopolitan, including the magazine, Web site, Cosmo radio, books, television partnerships and other digital ventures. Schulz replaces John Searles, who has left the company to become a fiction writer.
Most recently, Schulz served as special projects editor at Hearst Magazines, where she developed bookazines like “Good Housekeeping Comfort Food,” “Country Living Holidays” and “Delish.com’s 400 Calories or Less.” Before that, Schulz served as editor-in-chief of CosmoGirl! from July 2003 to November 2008.
Prior to CosmoGirl!, Schulz spent a number of years as a senior editor at YM.
