Hall’s Reports Data Sold, To Relaunch
Company data purchased by former lead analyst.
Hall’s Reports, a data reporting firm for editorial and advertising content in the magazine industry, is being rebooted under a new name and with new ownership after closing down in October.
Liz Grabler, previously the lead analyst at Hall’s, bought the firm’s data, reestablished its lapsed client relationships, hired back most of its employees and is relaunching as MA-Focus Media.
Terms weren’t disclosed.
While Grabler wouldn’t comment on why the company shut down in the fall, she plans to expand the product line as MA-Focus Media to include brand mentions and custom reports.
“I am staying in regular contact to create a more client driven product line,” she says. “The response has been positive. I am getting the feeling that clients want to know that we are here to help their business grow and work with them, we have the historical data and experience to back their needs.”
