Maggie joined PARADE in 2010 and was challenged to breathe new life into a Sunday magazine that has been around since 1941. Her mission was to transform the 70-year-old publication and make it relevant for readers in the digital age, while still maintaining its position as the most widely read publication in the country. The print publication has since been redesigned and rebranded with the first new logo in over 25 years. Maggie also restructured the editorial staff to include a team of content creators on multiple platforms: print, digital, mobile, video and social. Parade.com has seen an increase in web audience from 1 million monthly visitors to more than 5 million since she started in 2010.
Maggie successfully launched a mobile site which now accounts for 50 percent of total traffic and also created Parade’s first tablet applications-totaling more then 180,000 downloads. Maggie has reinvented the social media strategy, created an in-house studio, developed a contributor network, created a native-ad operation and much more.
