Interwoven Revenues on the Upswing in First Quarter
Sunnyvale, California-based content management provider Interwoven, Inc. reported $52.7 million in total revenues for the first quarter 2007, a 13 percent increase over the same period last year. Interwoven’s publishing client list includes Conde Nast, Mcgraw-Hill, Time Warner and TV Guide.
License revenues for the first quarter were 19.6 million, a 12 percent increase over the first quarter last year. Revenues from support and service was also on the rise, posting a 15 percent increase to $33.1 million.
Cash, cash equivalents and investments totaled $188.3 million, an increase of $11.9 million, while deferred revenues increased to $62.3 million, an increase of $2.5 million reported at the end of last year. Revenues can be credited to the company adding 74 new customers to its roster in the first quarter. Interwoven and also launched two new enterprise solution products in March;Interwoven Segmentation and Analytics and Interwoven Collaborative Document Management.
ON24 Launches Rich Media Network to Enhance Webcasts and Podcasts
Webcasting and rich media marketing solutions provider ON24 Inc has launched a new b-to-b rich media network of webcasts, podcasts, corporate videos and online demons called Insight24. The network aggregates and syndicates business and technology rich media content. Insight24 will store archived webcasts and podcasts to be viewed on-demand by audiences after the live webcast or podcast is aired.
Insight24 is free to all users and providers and also allows visitors to rank and comment on content. Registered users can also receive updates by subscribing to keyword and category-specific RSS feeds.
Stora Enso Names Director of Uncoated Mechanical Business Development
Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin based paper company Stora Enso has named Charles Deutsch to director of uncoated business development. He joined the company in 1997 as executive sales representative and has held positions a regional manager of Publication Papers, sales director of Publication Papers East and was most recently executive director of Publication Papers East.
New Leaf Launches First Coated Paper Made with 100% Post-Consumer Waste
San Francisco-based paper company New Leaf Paper has launched the first coated paper manufactured from 100% post-consumer wasted in the United States. New Leaf Sakura 100 is made entirely from post-consumer waste, compared to most papers which contain only 10 percent to 30 percent post-consumer waste.
Leaf Sakura 100 is processed chlorine free, which helps keep rivers free of poisonous bleaching products and is manufactured with 100 percent Green-e certified renewable wind energy, which helps reduce the nation’s output of the greenhouse gases that can cause global warming.
