Enfocus Updates Preflighting Products with Adobe Acrobat Compatibility
PitStop Professional more productive, functional, company says.
Enfocus, known for its PDF workflow automation, recently made its PitStop Professional 08, a tool set for preflighting, editing and fixing PDF files, compatible with Adobe Acrobat 9.
A unit of graphic arts company EskoArtwork, Enfocus is looking to “quickly incorporate native language support” for the major European languages into its 2008 product suite to “bring this same level of automation, accuracy and productivity to our European users in their native languages," David van Driessche, Enfocus’ marketing director, said in a statement.
Other new capabilities include sign-off on preflight errors, a redesigned PitStop Inspector, better page configuration handling, expanded contextual menus and conformance with the newest versions of operating systems, Enfocus says.
This update is available as a no-charge upgrade for current product users and will support French, German, Italian and Spanish languages for PitStop Professional and PitStop Server with improved productivity and functionality, the company says.
