Penton Converts Tech Group to All-Digital

After promotional emails were sent to readers informing them that new digital editions were replacing their print counterparts last Friday, Penton officially announced that its Technology Media Group, which publishes Windows IT Pro, DevPro, Power IT Pro and SQL Server Pro, among other brands, will go completely digital starting in May.

Adobe: 16 Million Tablet Publications Downloaded in Last 12 Months

Adobe has released some insights gleaned from data it's been collecting from many of the tablet publications that use its Digital Publishing Suite. The data, collected anonymously from 600 publishers and 1,500 tablet publications, reveals patterns in user behavior, pricing and purchasing preferences and advertising engagement.

AMI Bets National Enquirer App Will Draw Younger Audiences

American Media Inc. [AMI] is hoping to revitalize the age-old grocery store tabloid, the National Enquirer, with a tablet app aimed at younger audiences. The company will roll out a tablet-only edition in February that will feature content exclusives focused on gossip.

Online Retailer Zappos Launches Digital Magazine for iPad
