Lonny Magazine Launches iPad App

Lonny is moving from the browser to the App Store.

The digital-only Livingly Media publication will still offer its inspirational home design content via desktop and mobile browsers, but will now also provide an iPad app in an effort to strengthen its digital presence and add subscription revenue.

National Geographic App Downloads Pass 4.5 Million

Natural science, exploration and adventure publication National Geographic is seeing traction in the digital space, at least according to its new Consolidated Media Report (CMR) from the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).

Future plc App Sales Pass $8 Million

17 Million iPads Sold in Third Quarter

In its third-quarter financials released this week, Apple says it sold 17 million iPads. That's an 84 percent increase versus the same period last year. The company also sold 26 million iPhones, a 28 percent jump over last year's third quarter.
