Hallac previously worked at Bloomberg, most recently serving as the global head of product for the web platform, video products, and editorial tools, while Adelman most recently served as a consultant on New York Media’s rebrand of The Cut.
“Daniel and Ian are leaders in their fields, strategic thinkers, with an ability to execute on their vision,” said Pam Wasserstein, New York Media CEO in a company statement. “I’m excited to see their work take shape in continuing to grow our brands, and provide our audiences with a best-in-class experience.”
Bloomberg Pursuits has promoted Chris Rovzar to editorial director. Rovzar formerly served as the publication’s luxury editor.
Anna Maltby has joined Real Simple as deputy editor. Most recently, Maltby served as deputy editor, health and wellness, at Refinery29.
Eric Leven has been named director of Hearst Originals, a production and distribution unit of Hearst Magazines Digital Media. Most recently, Leven worked as the executive producer for the movie-streaming service Tribeca Shortlist.
Meredith Corporation has promoted Dina Nathanson to senior vice president of human resources. Nathanson formerly served as vice president of human resources for Meredith’s National Media Group.
