BusinessWeek President to Retire
BusinessWeek announced today that its president, William P. Kupper Jr., 61, will retire following a 38-year career in advertising and publishing. A search for a successor has begun.
Kupper joined BusinessWeek in 1995 as head of U.S. advertising sales. He later led the company’s global advertising sales. In 2000, he was appointed president of the BusinessWeek group. "Bill will participate in the process to select a new president and he will work with the BusinessWeek team to ensure an orderly transition," said Glenn S. Goldberg, president, McGraw- Hill Information & Media, BusinessWeek’s parent company.
