BPA Launches Interactive Accreditation Service
BPA Worldwide has launched a new service for members who successfully complete certification for an ad server system called Interactive Accreditation.
Interactive Accreditation complies with all Interactive Advertising Bureau guidelines and provides additional systems verification that go beyond IAB requirements, including a disaster recovery/business continuity process review, behavioral/activity-based filtering procedures and the reporting of the time at which data is considered final. Burlington, Massachusetts-based Web interactive advertising network Burst Media Inc. is the first company to achieve Interactive Accreditation.
BPA anticipates the new service will provide more assurance and accountability for media buyers and sellers. "As media buyers and advertisers continue to demand more accuracy and transparency across all media;including the online arena-BPA saw the need to clearly identify those ad server systems that comply with an enhanced set of audit tests," says BPA president and CEO Glenn Hansen. "Looking ahead, it’s clear that online media, like print and face-to-face, benefit by providing complete transparency and accuracy of their data as media owners expect to compete for the finite universe of marketing dollars."
