In our recent filing, it was our biggest year of growth. Year-over-year, we’ve seen a 125 percent increase in direct ad revenue. Looking ahead to 2014, we’re pushing forward in our biggest areas of growth: mobile, social and community.
Although we launched in 2006, we remain in start-up mode.
The end of a year always brings with it a host of new initiatives for the coming one. The year 2013 was a time that many publishers put renewed focus on digital and events, building out alternative revenue streams as print, for the most part, remained flat to down.
In early December, FOLIO: presented its annual Eddie & Ozzie Awards ceremony, which celebrates the best in magazine editorial and design. Huffington. and Nautilus were both big winners, taking home four and three awards, respectively. In all, more than 150 awards were given to brands spanning consumer, b-to-b, regional and association publishing.
