Advantage Business Media Buys “Continuity Insights” Portfolio
Deal includes magazine, events, Web site.
Continuity Insights focuses on business continuity and the publishing portfolio includes the magazine, an annual Continuity Insights Management Conference, a Web site and newsletters all serving about 42,000 customers. Founder and executive publisher Robert Nakao will join Advantage Business Media and Continuity Insights will be folded into Advantage’s manufacturing group.
Advantage was created in 2006 with the acquisition of Reed Business Information’s New Product division. Last summer the publisher was the victim of an offshore telemarketing agency falsifying recording calls, prompting five of eight Advantage titles to drop circ numbers for 2009 and requalify.
